oh, I had the `same' grandma (~.~) mine lived next door to me, our only neighbor.
She & I would go to the garden her apple orchard to sitting in the yard peeling & snaping beans right to the kitchen....boy was I lucky. We would have `silver tea' parties with the square cube sugar :>) what a treat that was back in the day. Oh my!
We would play cards...at the old metal kitchen table with the breeze blowing thru..
This was mostly after grandpa had died, because when he was alive I hung out with him checking the apple orchard & berry bushes & gardens... He owned businesses' & oversaw them in the back of the property. How grand they were.
love love your books

I love your books. I just read Until There Was U, and I loved every second of it. I related to her so much. By far one of my favorites. Me and my friends love books about being smaller and different than other people. Espically if they fall in love, it gives us hope, you know? I hope you write more books like that, you have a true gift of writing. We also enjoyed The Next Best Thing, Just one of the guys, Fools Rush In, and Too Good To Be True. They really touched our hearts, and made us laugh till we almost died. We would just like to ask what your next book is probably gonna be after Somebody to Love? Like the theme and stuff. Thank you, and you are truely amazing......

Hi Kristan,

I read Catch of the Day and Just one of the guys this week.Thank you Brooklyn Public Library for having them and getting to me so quickly. I laughed out loud while reading Just One of the Guys - good thing I was home and not on the NYC subway when it happened. After reading Catch of the Day, I want a Malone! Please keep the great books coming!
